This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Clear title. Body and frame are in pretty good shape. Comes with plow. The hard top is from a wrong year. Was started 5 years ago. Has flat head 4 cylinder engine.”
My son spotted this throwback photo posted on Utah’s DOT (aka UDOT) twitter page. It shows 9 jeeps parked in a circle around the Four Corners area of the southwest. He correctly noted that one of the vehicles was an FC (he’s learning, lol). There is no date associated with the image.

I finally obtained a 1954 CJ-3B brochure, Form # SD-201-4. There is also a version of this brochure with showing a CJ-3B fire engine, but I haven’t gotten that one yet.
Could be worth a look. Appears solid.

“53 willys cj3a runs and drives I like driving it, wheeling it and showing it off but I want to build other projects so something has to go. New valves, solid copper head gasket, GM alternator, new belt/fan/water pump. Springs/shocks/tank/seats and top all new. Weber carb, dry air filter, custom bumpers, bigger tires. Painted by previous owner shows age dents and some holes but looks cool”
Has a new tub and appears to be a total rebuild.
