“’63 Willy’s Jeep CJ6 4 cyl original drive train, clean title, new body needs painted, tires, windshield, brakes,& other parts, runs good. Old body goes with it”
UPDATE: This video was shared in September of 2018. An oldie, but a goodie.
I saw this video for the first time yesterday. Near the end of it there are several jeeps featured doing non-farm chores. I’ve taken a few screen shots of them and added them below. The most interesting one to me is the red one with the extended rear (pic with guys carrying the washing machine).
We’ve run across these extended rears like this on a few jeeps over the years, but this is the earliest evidence of them that I have seen. The one on the back of the red jeep looks like to me like it was professionally made, leading me to wonder if it was a purchasable product.
Nice looking Brush Jeep.

“Price change: 1957 Willys CJ5 Brush Fire Jeep. In service around the Akron, Ohio area most of its life. 11,000 original miles, runs perfect. Gets a-lot of interest at shows and turns heads everywhere. Great vehicle to educate the public on how important Willys/Jeeps were in American history.”
Sounds like a fast jeep. Those Hercules tires must be old? I’ve never run cross them.

(11/20/2021)This is one of the non-USPS left-hand-drive Dispatcher models that followed the DJ-3A model. It has as a serial number of 8505 11353. At some point this was a Shriner’s jeep. It runs well, but brakes need a little work. If interested, contact Stag at 314-484-6375.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,000.
These are both projects.
