Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This is possibly a former Navy CJ-5, according to the seller. A Kelly hardtop is included.
“1973 m38 navy jeep 6cyl. 3 tops, hard and soft doors. runs and drives but needs tires. also have 2 military engs. with trans and some tires. engs I don’t know about but would take 200 for them. tires all of them for 200. some hold air I have not went through them”

“For sale is a 53 willys that has been sitting for around 7 years behind a church in Newburgh. I acquired it as a project but in my current situation am unable to give it the time and love it deserves. As far as I know it did run when it was parked but obviously doesn’t run now. It is a 69 year old New York vehicle so it has its fair share of rust but has solid bones given the state it had been left in. I am happy to entertain any offers within reason including trades. I have mirrors and the missing part of the rear door as well as a spare front grill.”

“I have a 1950’s Jeep COE for sale short bed 4WD! These Jeep’s are very hard to come by. As you can see from the pics it’s got a lot of rot in the body. This is not a project for the average person. This was suppose to be one of the show cases for my business but plans have changed. Yes, I have had this Jeep listed for sale several other times.. I am selling so I can move on to the next project.
I do not have a title & the vin tag that was mounted to the floor is missing from the rusted pans. I have a bill of sale. There is a vin number on the frame. Motor turns over with a ratchet & starter is good. Bed is solid, frame is solid… everything is there besides the floors lol. Please do not hit me up for trades, low ball prices, & “is this available” if the ad is still up it’s still available. I’m in no hurry to sell if that’s the case”

“For sale is a 1948 willys CJ2a
Engine cranks over but doesn’t start.
It has a swapped Buick 225 v6 / ST 300 auto transmission. They were mated but were separated for installation. Has single barrel carbon and HEI distributor
The frame is absolutely 100% solid. The body needs a few exterior patches but still solid. Comes with rare, flanged center output Dana 44 and front dana 27 axles
This Jeep has a Clean transferable registration in my name.”
Forget April showers, it’s snowed here the last couple of days in Prosser, setting an April record for snow. We lost power for most of yesterday morning. Updates Wed morning.
Meanwhile, the snow followed Mitch Carter down to Moab, so the usually sunny Easter Jeep Safari week started with a blanket of snow.
