About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
UPDATE: Just to be clear, this is not preassembled. It is a kit that needs assembly.
John forwarded me this link to a scale model jeep kit, roughly 22″ long, being sold through MegaHobby.com. At $260.96, it isn’t cheap, but it appears to be a detailed larger scale model. The model is produced by Dragon, which is short for Dragon Models Limited, a company out of Hong Kong, that has been making military diecaet models since 1987.
“Built in 1959, probably 1960 model. Complete, frame seems solid, Chevrolet V8 installed, transfer case for front wheels also in place. No title. 12V system”
This has a few extras, including a Meyer hardtop, a Warn(?) OD, and a custom(?) bed extension. The video below must be from the previous owner.
“1960 Jeep Cj5 225 dauntless V6 3 speed with gear vendor overdrive Twin stick Dana 20 transfer case Runs and drives great, breaks work plenty. Rides great at 45-50mph Do not ask if it’s still available.”
“Unknown mileage 134 4 cyl motor 3 speed trans Warn hubs Will run tank is being cleaned now , needs new fuel line , ? Fuel pump ? I have a new never installed correct Carter yf carburetor , [ to replace aftermarket carb ] and factory intake Good battery , tires holding air Heater box Mostly original , complete , uncut No rust through in tub or tool box 3850.00”
(02/11/2022) The half-top looks refurbed/customized and the roof of this half-cab extends a little too far over the front. It seems that would be a big wind catcher at any decent rate of speed.

“This is a 1965 Jeep CJ5a limited edition Tuxedo Park Mark IV. The Jeep has not run in a few years now, when we parked it my mechanic indicated it had a timing issue and I haven’t gotten back to it since. Compression was good at that time. It has the original 134 cubic inch Hurricane 4 cylinder motor”
