This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. From restoration of a 1942 Jeep Willys MB, I have leftover used and new parts including three engine blocks (2-“F” and 1-“L”) heads, Bell housings, radiator, crank shafts, cam shafts, pistons, radiator, top bows for canvas top, part of new 6V wiring harness, some new gauges, intake and exhaust manifolds, steering box parts (some new still in a box), brake drums, brake parts, and much more.

(02/05/2022) This appears to be a 2A body with a Willys stamped rear body part grafted on to the back. Yet, it is missing a few 2A features in the dash and lacks a steering column hole. I’m scratching my head over this odd body.

This 1960 brochure labeled Form No. DM60-09 took some patience to finally locate on eBay, though I had to purchase 10 brochures (8 of which I already had). At least the price was low.
