Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Mike spotted this trencher. It’s not far from him. He said he’d be willing to look at it for someone. I’m surprised this doesn’t have duallies on the back. It does have a rear pto gear box sitting in the jeep as well, so it seems there is some definite parts value here.

This year’s Great Willys Picnic occurs June 12th, 2022.
“Sunday June 12, 2022 from 9 am – 4 pm at the Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern Railroad located in Kempton, Pennsylvania.
The Willys Picnic will be in compliance with all regulations in effect on June 12th. Be prepared for possible changes from past events.”

“For sale is my 1952 Willys M38 (military jeep). The top is a factory “Arctic Top” that was installed when new. The Jeep was originally in the military then was purchased by the forest service and they painted it forest service green. This jeep has almost no rust on it whatsoever! Floors, body, hat channels are all completely solid and rust free. Some stuff was modernized: 12v converted/solid state distributor/standard fuel pump but I have all of the original 24v waterproof distributor/plugs/wires/pump. Lots of new parts, radiator was rebuilt, new fuel tank, seats. All gauges work like they’re supposed to. The Jeep runs and drives great and I drive it regularly. It has a clean Ga title in my name”
