This eastern Washington jeep might be worth a look. It’s got a Kelly hardtop. Those rims aren’t very common in the west.

“1973 Jeep, 304 AMC, RV cam, fenderwell headers. 3 speed, AMC posi rear axel, Dana 30 front. Very good condition all steel body, steel hard top, factory 6 point roll bar. Warn winch. 70’s turbine wheels never mounted Pro Comp MT tires-32×10.50. Would run well but accelerator pump went bad, needs carb rebuilt. Good driver after that. “1970 Jeepster Commando Rat Rod. Really fun, I recently bought it and went through all the major components making sure it is solid. It runs really well now, 350/350 with a Ford 9 inch. Front clip is from a 72 camaro. Disc brakes front and rear. Lokar shifter, linkages, transmission dipstick, new wiring harness etc. Flowmaster exhaust, really nice headers. This thing is a head turner. Full take off top. Gauges and lights work. I want to build my own rat rod is the only reason I’m selling/trading. Clean title in hand.”

“Have 47 Willy’s wheeler needs a lot of work and new axles put under it. Have a Dana60 Dana44 with 5:13 gears that will go with.has bare Toyota axles under it right now. had a cage done for it. the cage rear needs to be finished welded and a bunch of other stuff. Does run has a Chevy 4.3 on propane Dana 20 twin stick with aftermarket gears in it with front dig and a th350. 4link in the rear and springs in the front. Have a set of brand new fox 18in gas shocks for the rear.
Has some ok 35in tsl’s on beadlocks. Need a running vehicle more Than anything or cash me out. Have the title also. Really don’t wanna sell but times are hard..make me a good cash offer or trade. I’ll trade for a ls with a 5 speed also. I know it’s ugly and beat it’s a wheeler and pretty old.. i really don’t wanna part it out have to much stuff laying around as is.”

As part of the continuing updates to our property, we’ve added some additional walkways. These serve three purposes. 1) We found that lots of dirt was being tracked into the bunkhouse, so that needed to be addressed; 2) the bunkhouse felt separate from the rest of the buildings and 3) we expect to replace the lean-to ‘barn’ to be replaced with an actual barn, so these walkways will help link everything together. So, we hoped extending the walkway would help incorporate the buildings.
This is one of the few tasks that we decided to hire a contractor to complete. Unfortunately, our calls to local contractors proved frustrating. We couldn’t get local folks to respond. Finally, Ann reached out to Wine Country Landscaping in Milton-Freewater, about an hour away. They gave us a free estimate and had great reviews. It’s a young company, but they are eager to grow, easy to work with, and did a great job. In fact, the guys repaired some concrete for free just to make everything look better, something they were not required to do.
At this rate, I see no reason we can’t hold some kind of jeep event next year. I’ll announce something by January.
Here are some pre-concrete photos. This first one shows the gravel in front of the shop, an annoyance when moving something with smaller wheels from the concrete to the asphalt. To the right of the shop is a form for the new propane tank pad.
After: The concrete now runs the northern side of the shop. The white building in back is a series of lean-tos that are super inefficient space wise. We will repurpose the lean-to materials in to a hay barn and shelter for the cows and a barn will replace the existing structure. To the right is the guesthouse.
