About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I’m parting out a two cj-2a. I have the transmission and transfer case and drive line, i also have the go devl block I’ll take pictures on Thursday and post them . Let me know what parts you’re needing I’ll look and see if it is still available”
“1946 Jeep Willys.
4000.00 OBO
Needs restoration but all parts are there, rust in the tub around the rear wheel openings. MB grill added does have headlight buckets but no brackets. CJ grill included. Has a small block ford engine “ran when parked” per previous owner.
Have new radiator and a few other pieces that go with it. Does have fender well headers.
Clean California title last registered in 2017. Do not know about back fees.”
“I’ve had this Willys far too long and realize how unlikely it is that I’ll ever do the build I envision.
I purchased it in 1990 and dismantled in 1991, after I cooked the rear pinion gear. It’s been kept in a garage/tent in Santa Cruz Co. ever since. It was first placed in CA DMV non-op status in 1994 – I have a clean title in hand.
The contents for sale include all parts for a complete jeep (and then some), including:
– Body tub, fenders, grill, 2 hoods, windshield, tailgate, roll cage, 2 seats
– 302 Ford V8 – ran fine in 1991
– 4-core radiator (unused in box)
– Rebuilt Ford T18, 4 spd. transmission w/granny-low 1st gear
– New trans/transfer-case adapters, Centerforce clutch, pressure plate, t/o bearing
– ’74 CJ5 Model 20 transfer-case
– ’74 CJ5 transmission cross-member
– ’74 CJ5 Dana 20 front-end rebuilt w/limited slip diff, disc-brake kit & new Warn hubs
– Ford 9″ rear end w/ factory disc brakes – needs shortening & differential
– Orig. Dana 44 rear-end – needs rebuild
– (4) 8″x10” chrome 7-spoke wheels with tires ~90%tread
– Used Jeep wrangler leaf springs w/new in-box spring perches
– 2 frames – stock ’47 & ’74 DJ (postal jeep)
– Complete Bestop soft top
– Unused “bikini” top
– Wood project rack with casters
The posted price is what I figure the sum of the parts are worth. I’ll entertain offers – just not ridiculous ones.”
“1946 cj2a. Looks like a really cool army jeep. Needs tlc and minor motor work. Comes with a lot of extras. Really fun project that I just keep get to.
Looking to trade for a newer good condition travel trailer or something cool that doesn’t take up garage space. ”
This VEC has a serial number of 10461. It has been updated with a V8. It might still have the side shift T-90 updated with a different kind of linkage. Current bid with 6 days to go is $1800.
“This 1946 Willys Jeep 4×4 V-8 is up for auction on October 22nd! This is an online auction and there are no minimums or reserves! Everything sells to the highest bidder! V-8 Oldsmobile engine, manual transmission, 4×4, tow hitch.”
I can’t tell if the $8k price includes the roof rack or not, but it certainly is an interesting piece. The seller provides an extensive list of parts added and work done.
“Customized 1951 Willys CJ3A with 3-speed manual transmission with a 1969 Ford small-block 302 Windsor V8 (5.0L) engine generating 210 hp @ 4,400 rpm and 295 ft-lb of torque at 2,600 rpm.
Customized with a roof rack and Eide Automatic Boat Loader (https://boatloader.com/). Valued at $1,000. I can remove and sell separately.
Over $40,000 in custom modifications and upgrades since its purchase in 2005. The major upgrade ($24,000) was in 2014 – 2015 with engine overhaul, addition of electronic fuel injection, addition of front and rear disc brakes, change to front and rear gearing, and steering column replacement.

The JeepFarm did some work on this truck. They may be able to provide additional information about it. It appears solid, but no pics of the interior or engine were provided.

(04/19/2022) Some of the elements on this make me wonder if it was an old school build that has been recently updated into a crawler. Hard to tell for sure at this point.
“1957 Willys Jeep rock crawler, street legal off road Jeep. Ford posi-traction 9in chrome differentials, 4 wheel disc brakes, fox body fuel injected 5.0 engine, C4 transmission, Warn winch, Hi-Lift jack, onboard compressor, comes with regular tires and a set of paddles.
