This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 47 Willy’s gasser drag truck. It has a big block 455 with a turbo 400 and a ford 9 inch. Truck runs and drives good and it street legal. Engine is mildly built and transmission has a shift kit. Truck is very reliable.”

Looks in great shape, though too bad the driver’s side (which is on the right) has had the body cut. Note that this is a right hand drive jeep with an automatic transmission (probably Borg Warner).

My guess is that this is a 2A, though it is listed as a 1944. It looks like the front bumper and gussets have been removed. It looks to have an early 2A grille.
