The hood actually looks OK, gives jeep a modern look with the full roll cage. What is mounted on the drivers side door opening?
Mark, I have no idea what is mounted on the driver’s side. It reminds me of a boat bumper though.
I assumed it was a place to stick his flagpole. Now dat’s a roll cage!!!! May even be frame mounted
Bingo, that’s very similar to the roll cage dad installed in his CJ-5 following his roll down a hill. When he rebuilt it, he created a tank out of a jeep!
“What is mounted to the door opening?” I had the answer a couple years ago but I couldn’t remember where the question was located. Well here we go! They are kerosene road flares.
Thanks Blaine!! .. I wonder if this was a service vehicle at some point? Those are unusual items to have mounted.
