Yes…..that is one unique induction system using a really old….and desirable Stromberg 81 or 97 carb.

A bit silly really.
Is that induction system really necessary? Of course not.
I find many rat rods to be disrespectful of the base car…they often turn a historic type into a rolling joke.

But, that is sort of the thing that fascinates me about jeeps. Folks have felt free to do what ever they wanted to these vehicles. Was it a leftover practice from WWII? Was it the utility function of jeeps? Was it the ability to interchange so many parts of so many years? It’s as if folks saw jeeps as a blank canvas to express their artistic or utilitarian (or both) goals.
