1948 Willys Jeep CJ-2A $4,500 Morris, AL
Neat CJ, might be a combo of some earlier parts as well, grill for example looks earlier then a ’48 for example.
Information from seller:
More pictures added……….. Running & driving project with Original L-134 4 cylinder and T-90 transmission. Fresh rebuild on front axle and new front leaf springs when front frame horns were replaced. Sides and floors have had sheet metal laid over original metal long time ago. Original floors are rusty but can’t see sides. I have added new seat frames, front bumper, fuel tank and lines, rebuilt original fuel pump and carb.

Thats my old Willys! Good to see he made some progress on it since I had it! Ran like a sewing machine! Good luck with sale!
Very cool, how long did you have it for?
I had it for probably a couple years. Bought it as a project but never did much to it so decided to let it go. The patina on it was my favorite part! I love the green!
Thanks for the background info!
The tub color is similar to U.S. Forest Service green. In my area, we see some of their fleet trucks and a lot of pickups, Suburbans, and Jeep Cherokees that were sold surplus.
Last year, a young woman in my country neighborhood had a restored 90’s YJ, in a similar color…not quite Forest Service green, but a shade lighter/grayer…it looked great.
