| I have a 1950’s Willy’s jeep project, that needs a full restoration. It looks like it was a military jeep and then lived out it’s life at the tonkawa fire department. Was bought at an auction around 2004/2005. And then it sat. Has a 4 cylinder engine. Engine is locked up and will need to be rebuilt or replaced. Have not looked at the transmission, but will probably need some work too. Started on it but it’s a bit above my skill level. Everything is there. Price is OBO. I don’t have the title for it. |

| For sale: classic Jeep Willys pickup project with incredible overlander potential. I originally planned to build it out similar to the concept in the last photo, but life changed and I’m not able to start the project.
The truck has beautiful natural patina and a solid foundation, ready for someone to bring their vision to life. It’s currently a roller — the engine is out, but the transmission is included. This is a fantastic base for an overland or restoration build. If you’re looking for a unique Willys with tons of character and potential, this is it. Mike sent over this nice 1954 Wagon Video that has been body swapped, at the end it hits the trails and really shows off its capability, it looks like it rides amazing.
Here are a couple of screen grabs from Instagram that I found of this one.
I feel this might be a very early shot that was still up on Instagram about 4 Years ago, kinda fits the time line and description mentioned in the Video. Lots of work was performed to transform it into how it sits today.

| This is a 1962 Willys truck stock flat bed, willys western snow plow, willys superhurricane 226, it is all stock, solid frame and body other a couple rust spots. My dad bought this from an older gentleman. I did sit for 5 years as he did not use it. We installed a new Kaiser willy gas tank and fuel line. She turns over good but we are limited on time with our business ect. and are trying to find this truck a good home. No trades, the plow is rare being a willys western factory plow. Great restoration project or to just use. |
