“Selling for a friend – 1953 Willys CJ3B. Runs and drives! Has clean MI title! Owner has had it for over 20 years. Body is okay, but need some TLC. I won’t be able to get pictures until the snow melts. Motor runs, but has a rod knock in the 4th cylinder. Trans shifts smoothly, tcase works and is functional. Pictures will tell the rest of the story once I am able to get some. Please email me if you have any interest in this. I also have a hard top and doors to sell seperatly if interested. Thanks”
The front bumper doesn’t look original, but the rest of it does. This includes a rear PTO.

“Up for sale is my 1950 willys CJ3A
Clean title in my name. first titled in 1950 so its never had the title lost or been retitled.
It currently runs and drives.
Nice strait frame and good running gear.
Nearly new wheels and tires no rot.
have brand new mech fuel pump and rebuild parts for the brake system.
body is a little banged up.
typical wavy bed area and fenders. nothing to bad though.
dash floors and tranny hump area are all in good shape.
its been sanded down and let sit awhile so its coated in surface rust.
needs the fuel tank cleaned out to be driven more then a few mins.
its a newer tank just has a bunch of crud in the tank.
I don’t need to sell this but i’m moving at the end of the month and it would be nice to have a few extra bucks on me.
If I don’t sell it I’ll just pull it along with me.
Only trades I would be interested in is a newer model KTM dirt bike. enduro style with head light and tail light. no MX bikes. 250+ 2-stroke or 400+ 4-stroke.
Call Text Or E-mail.

I bought a May 1975 issue of Four Wheeler Magazine, because it was cheap. I didn’t find anything interesting in it until stumbled across a picture of Jim Carter racing through mud on the last page. Jim and his wife Patti were long time friends of my parents and encouraged them to join the fledgling Wandering Willys Jeep Club. Those that have read my book might recognize the name.
For an unknown reason, JIm isn’t racing their jeep Otis, but someone else’s (or this photo is earlier than 1975). I do recognize that helmet though.
Don’t forget that the North/South Carolina Flat Fender Clubs will be holding a Meet on April 13th. The location is at the foot of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park, in Mt Pleasant SC. Time of meet is 8:30am until 4pm.

Marc uncovered several great G503 Russian site links.
This link includes information on jeep (and seep) manuals in english and russian. Here are a couple shots from the Russian book from 1948:

There is a seller with a variety of 8×10 black and white photos of the FJ Fleetvan. Some auctions end soon. This seller also has photos of a three-wheeled delivery van made for the post office.
They are all original photographs purchased from the “HEAD PHOTOGRAPHER FOR TWIN COACH BUS COMPANY AND THE WILLYS JEEP FIRM IN TOLEDO OHIO ALL PHOTOGRAPHS WERE TAKEN BY HER WHILE WORKING FOR THESE COMPANIES”.
