Just an hour left on this one. This looks more like a movie set than real life.
“1944- While French housewives scrub their laundry in a stream, U.S. soldiers give their jeep a much-needed bath.”
Very low mileage CJ-3A!
“1951 Jeep Willy’s CJ3A, Original Civillion Jeep, Only 14,112 Original Miles, L-Motor (flat 4 cyl.), 3-Speed Transmission, Unmolested Rust Free Body, All Original Interior, Original Canvas Top and Doors, All Guages Work As They Should, Shifts Nicely, Clutch Is Strong. This Willy’s is a rare find in the fact that everything is original and it is very complete with a Colorado Title in hand. If you are looking for a really, really, really fun vehicle to cruise around in than look no further. From my research and from what I have been told by several sources this is likely one of the nicest and most original complete CJ3A’s in the country, I have documentation dating back to the original purchase of it in 1951 and it has been in the same family since new. If you have any questions please give me a call. ”

“This is a 1949 CJ3A Willys Jeep. This has a Wyoming Title and until last year had never been out of the state. NO RUST. Garaged or barned all its life. Frame off restoration 99% complete. Electrics have been changed to 12V but the 6V parts are with the vehicle. Vehicle has an original speedometer indicating under 10,000 miles to the best of my knowledge this is accurate. Asking $12,500.00 OBO. This is not a mudder it is an antique.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000
No title. I would expect it will sell quickly.
“1946 Jeep Willy for sale. Engine ran 2 years ago, been sitting since, dead battery. Body in great shape, interior has been rhino lined. New plugs, dist cap, wires, rotor, condenser. Have new mirrors also. Wont take much to get it up and road ready. I have the tittle, however the previous owner filled it out incorrectly. This has a rare Hickey sidewinder winch.
“This 1954 Willys Jeep M38A1 was recently discovered in a U.S. Government Warehouse in Logan, Utah, And had been stored there since 1986 !!
It was Manufactured by Willys–Overland (MB) in 1954. Officially called by U.S. Military a Willys M38A1 or Willys MD, it was the first “round fender” Willys.
The Willys M38A1 or (MD) was built from 1952 until 1957 for the U.S. military forces and from 1958 until 1971 for export to foreign governments. The United States Marine Corps continued to order and use the M38A1 until 1971. The M38A1 was so well liked, they introduced the CJ-5 in 1955 based on its design.
The body looks solid.

I’d say this has seen some mud a few times. I’d guess not a whole lot of ’47’ left.
