Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Not all the vehicles were modified. Many 1970s racers were trail jeeps with winches and tow bars still attached, such as this drag racer.

“This a 1968 Jeep six wheel /Backhoe very rare and super heavy duty
the floors are rusting and will need work the rest of the jeep has its
spots but where it counts under neath it has surface rust but the truck
is amazing and runs great the Backhoe works and digs great the jeep also has
down riggers that lift the back end up of the ground and the front has a Dozzer/
backfill blade mounted with a shoulder mount
The Jeep is located in Biddeford Maine and very close to I95
storage is not a problem and will provide any help needed
to ship all at buyers cost”
UPDATE: Lester’s comment provides some good details on identifying this as a GPW Frame.
