Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s drivetrain has been updated, but sure looks solid.

Yep, people do some surprising things with wagons.
“1954 willys jeep wagon chopped 4″ on a 95 chevy 2wd frame fully bagged with air bags adjustable for up to 10″ of travel down all the way frame scrapes. Has a chevy 400sbc with holley dual plane intake manifold holley 650 carburetor HEI ignition new alternator and starter. has optima battery yellow topper, on board belt driven air compressor. electric cooling fan semi air horn all light work. has 4 speeed manual transmission with new clutch .tons of time and lots of money invested around 12k comes with parts truck if you make the right offer. CLUTCH LINKAGE IS VERY STIFF STILL NEEDS SOME WORK BUT ADD YOUR OWN TOUCHES TO THIS TO MAKE IT MORE UNIQUE.

“I have a completely restored Willys JEEP REAR PTO UNIT – COMPLETE!!!!! This is a very hard to find unit. Perfect working condition….These drive shafts are impossible to locate!!! Just add gear oil, bolt up and go!!!!!”
Mark just posted this over at sellajeep.com. It’s listed as a 1951 CJ-2A, so either the year or model is wrong.
“This Jeep was used to pick up parts for a local garage. It has its last inspection sticker on the windshield. There are 45,300 original miles on the engine. It was restored by a certified auto mechanic. It has a new tub, brake system, five new tires. Seats were redone by a local upholstery shop—and the heater works!
