This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 jeep cj-2a 4 cylinder 3 speed, restored about 10 years ago. Thee jeep runs, drives and stops great. All original with 6 volt charging system. 5 brand new tires. Miles are unknown due to age but the motor runs fine and does not smoke. Clean title in hand”
This may be a mix of 2A and MB parts.
“I have this clean 1942 Willys Jeep C2a that runs, new four wheel pumpkin, has new windshield to change out if desired as well as I have the original tailgate, one original rim and tire. The ones in the picture are not original rims and tires.
This is a classic for someone who can appreciate this. Have pink in hand. ”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2300.
“Right hand drive mail jeep for sale. Daily driver, no problems, runs great. Has 258 Amc engine, 3 speed auto trans. Second seat added for passenger, Have mail tray that can be re-mounted. May take trade for truck.”

UPDATE: Price dropped to $3000.
Lots of upgrades, but still a project. It has a bobcat body with the passenger side gas inlet (life mine). I’d bet this is one of the early heavy bodies.

“Rebuilt from ground up. Unfortunately, rebuilt motor was not built well and needs replaced or rebuilt. Estimate for build available.

Probably more I’m forgetting. Jeep was loved and will make a great hunting or off-road weekend toy when finished. Motor is bigger F-head, but can be replaced with a L-head, V6 or other engine of your choosing.”

“Willys CJ3B. Complete but rough body; grille and hood in good shape. Original F-head engine turns partway over by hand. Transmission and transfer case shift fine. Ran when parked but has been sitting on the family farm for many years. No title – bill of sale only. $1500 OBO – will deliver within 30 miles for a small fee. Good parts vehicle for a rebuild. ”

Marc spotted this body for sale. It might be the same body that was discussed in this G-838 thread.
“This may be your last opportunity to own a new old stock (NOS) M151A2 replacement body. As near as I can tell, this is one of the last three known to exist.
If you know anything about the M151 series of vehicles, you’re probably aware that it is a unibody constructed Jeep. That means that it did not have a separate frame. The the radiator, engine and transmission, drive can train and suspension components were all bolted directly to the body. While that saved some weight, it made it doubly important that the strength of the body was not compromised by rust. Unfortunately,a M151 body has all kinds of nooks and crannies to trap mud and moisture and start the corrosion process, however, this M151 body is clean as a whistle! Brand new, never been used!! It doesn’t get any better than this!!!
I can deliver this body to a buyer who is traveling to the Military Vehicle Preservation Association meet at Camp Delta this year April 20-26. Camp Delta is in Lodi California.
This body would be a great start for an all NOS parts (they are all available !) constructed brand-new M151A2 Jeep with 0 miles. The only one on the planet!”
