1945 CJ-2A Lindenwold, NJ eBay

For a jeep with a serial number of 11672, this looks decidedly non VEC ish.  It’s certainly not totally stock for that vintage.  However, it is a nice looking rebuild.

“1945 Willy’s CJ-2A Civilian Jeep Universal. SN. 11672.This unit is totally stock with the original “Go-Devil” L-Head 4 cylinder 60 HP engine and associated transmission and differentials.  The only items that have been upgraded are a full 12V electrical system with battery, starter, alternator, wiring, and all lights and gauges.  The windshield wipers have been converted from vacuum to electric for just a bit more dependability. The unit has only recently been completed and even includes a new (only installed and put on twice) Best top and doors.  This is an all steel, and, I think, it is all original steel, body.  The body was removed from the chasse and all necessary maintenance was performed.  The floors are the original and show no signs of rust including the compartment under the passenger seat.  Both the underside and the top of the full floor have been stripped down and Rhino Hide coated.  The wheels are perfect and carry a new full set of five 600X16 non-directional tread tires.  The seats have been redone with the proper upholstery both front and rear.  I have had this unit on the highway for a 120 mile round trip at fifty miles per hour and had absolutely no problems.”

“This posting is for my 1946 jeep willys cj 2a.I bought tihs jeep about 4 years ago as a fun project and never finished it but is almost there. It has a 50s modle cj 3b motor in it and it runs fine. The new things are the wiring harness, steering box, windsheild gaskets minus the glass and gas tank. The rear floor has been replaced with dimond plate and I have fliped the axles to give it a moderate lift about 4 in.This jeep would be perfect for that hunting cabin, offroad,or just to cruise around town in.The brakes are all there but dont work I think they just need to bee hooked up. There are a lot of extra parts that come with the jeep including the original motor and trans.I will deliver within 30 miles for free and .50 a mile after that if need be.This jeep is a project so it is being sold as is no warenty.Feal free to email me any time.

A reader has two questions about a Wagon and a Truck

• CATEGORIES: News This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

A reader named Steve had some questions about which I didn’t have answers:

He asked me to post two questions for two different projects:
1) What would be the easiest/best/smartest engine swap for an F134 in a 1947 W-O Truck?
2) What chassis swaps are recommended to modernize a 1952 W-O Station Wagon?

Thanks!
