“1948 Willys Jeep Hardtop with Front tow bar. Tires good. Delivery negotiable. (231) 499-9244”
It’s got some rust, but runs, drives and appears complete.
“1947 Jeep CJ2A. I am selling this Jeep for a neighbor who moved into St.Louis. It was used around their farm for about 30 years. Usual body rust with only a few small quarter sized holes in the floor, bottom of tool box has a larger hole in it. All parts appear to be original(sheet metal, 4 cyl engine, dash, Etc.). Has been partially converted to 12v. Engine eletrical system(charging, starting & ign) are all 12v. lights and gas gage need to be switched to 12v. Runs and drives, starts right up and doesn’t burn any oil but steering is a little “loose” above 20 mph, most likley needs tie rod ends or something. Just put $300.00 in parts into brake system(new M.C., brake hoses, wheel cylinders and E. Brake cable). 92447 original miles. Missouri Title in both wife and husbands name, husband is dead so transfer is made in wifes name and missouri cert. of death for husband(provided) as per Missouri Law. Asking $3350 OBO, Call Matt @ 636.932.4035 Evenings or use C.L. Email.”

“47 jeep willys,,, askin 1800obo new spark plugs n wires, battery, headgasket carburetor rebuilt just needs tuning title in hand”
UPDATE2: Still Available
UPDATE: Craig confirms that this is a FC-170 DRW; it’s unclear if the diesel is original or if it is a replacement engine (rather than a M-676 with a Cerlist Diesel.)
“I have an FC 150 and an FC 170 that will be sold as a pair. The FC 170 has no motor, trans or transfer case. It was a RARE factory diesel with a Gafner loader. It has a GVW of 9000# with Dana axles. Found a bell housing and flywheel in the cab so I assume it is off the diesel. Odometer shows 7500 miles. The FC 150 is pretty much complete except for the seats. It has a 4 cylinder F134 motor that will be rebuilt shortly. It has the standard bore and reground crank and bearings to match. Waitng for a front seal and valve stem seals. Odometer shows 21,500 miles. I am just stating what the odometers say, don’t know if it is the actual miles or not. Both Jeeps last plated around 1973-74. I am open to REASONABLE OFFERS. I am not going to give these away so don’t waste my time. I do have more pics if you are serious.”
UPDATE: I guess this didn’t sell at the flea market, so it’s now listed at $3700.
“1947 Willys Army Jeep, 6-cylinder motor. Great condition. Includes original medical kit with an additional 6-cylinder motor. Collectible, fun ride.”
Yes, it’s back up! While I had planned to continue work on my rear spring pads tonight (I’m completely redoing the angles on my spring pads — but I’ll save that update for the future), the site had to take priority.
THE PROBLEM:
It turns out that when a website uses more than its alotted CPU % (which differs from bandwidth and server space), my webhost (anhosting) will simply take down everything related to the offending URL (in my case, anything with ewillys.com attached to it). Super Freaking Inconvenient!!!!
I believe the offending issues included 1) a highly problematic spammer out of China 2) a problem with the translation plugin, which was causing all kinds of slow downs and 3) possibly issues with talk backs, which are almost entirely used by spammers. So, I have dealt with each of these issues. I also optimized and reduced the size of the database. I believe I am noticing noticeably faster downloads based on my experience tonight.
ALSO:
I’ve upgraded the wordpress software to 3.0 and completely rebuilt the menus within the new auto-menu schematic (which you probably won’t notice, but it makes it easier for me to rearrange the main menu and add other menus anywhere in the site).
I haven’t yet got the mapping working yet, so I still need to do that (not sure what’s going on there). So, on Tuesday the site might be down for a little while as I update stuff a little more.
If you use a rss reader, I might have taken that down temporarily.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
“Extremely unique, one-of-a-kind!! Completely restored, inside and out, as you can see from the pics. Less than 1,000 miles since frame off restoration. 350 (balanced) Chevy motor, cam, headers, and 327 Corvette heads. 350 turbo trans, 9 inch Ford rear end, Mustang II front suspension and dropped spindles. Real lacewood vaneer outside panels. White wall tires. Has heater, but no air conditioning. Kenwood CD player, maple flooring, mahogony inside paneling. Runs & drives like a dream! Needs absolutely nothing! Always kept in a controlled environment, and has never seen rain!”
