This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (10/26/09) I’m guessing it’s a CJ-3A, however the body appears to have a solid back, so it might be a DJ-3A body? The seller has included a long description.
“This is a 1940 or early 50’s Jeep Willys. I’m not sure because this jeep is registered as a 1967 due to the year of the motor. The motor is a Chevy 283 V8 from a 67’ Chevelle. This Jeep is full of goodies and will always be smog exempt ”

Here’s a fine looking CJ-5.
“1956 CJ5 set up with 350 v-8 chevrolet engine steel crank camel hump heads 4 bbl carb runs awesome less than 6,500 miles on it turbo 400 automatic transmision 2yrs old. newer front bucket seats custom rear seat. Has enough room for the family. Sits on new super lift springs with new shocks and spring shackles inside of tub is lined. Curently sitting on 31×10.50×15 tires BFG all terrains with at least 90% tread on them body is straight has some scratches and nicks in it windsheild is cracked as well. Keep in mind I use it as a Jeep it goes ooff road and it does it well the kids love it it is not perfect anymore but in good shape just looking to do something different. I am asking $3,900.00 Thats it I do not want any trades I have to many things that I don’t need no scams No free rides If your interested cal or come see it. Dan spotted this. I can’t say if the seller is accurate about the rarity or not.
“Up for sale is a very rare Jeep Gladiator. The vehicle was made in 1969 and then was issued a vin number in 1970 before kaiser sold to AMC. This vehicle has a very rare 350 V8 Buick motor with an automatic, they only made the vehicle with an automatic for one year with these motor options. This has a true four wheel drive running gear, with dana 60 lockers, that have been gone thru and serviced. Currenlty the vehicle needs the rear glas put in the door panels put on and the bed to be bolted back on, it used to have a flat bed on it.as well as the gas tank to be put back in. It is still on the trailer and can be delivered if need be. Like I said this vehicle does run that is how i got it on the trailer, I have the title in hand with new plates as well. Rebuilt 215 aluminum block olds (F-85), 4 speed w/ compound low, new clutch, 5:38 lockers front and rear, full floating warn axles, brakes, hardware, 11in. drums,32X9.5X15 Swampers (almost new), Ramsey winch, Project continues, take it and the trailer full of goodies . (05/18/2010) This looks great. It appears to sport a replacement body. Not a bad price.
“1948 Willys CJ2A runs drives and stops. New brakes and lines 5 years ago; aftermarket steel tub, hood and tailgate, no rust on the body, original windshield. I do not know the mileage but have a clear Wisconsin title for it. I think it is an MB frame. I have used it as a toy on my farmette near Monroe, Wi. It starts up every spring but I just use it to drive locally. The tires are new, non directional with less than 100 miles on them. The pics were taken before the new tires. I bought it from a guy in northern Wi who painted it with a brush but it looks pretty good anyway. I have a new steering wheel and correct passenger seat frame for it, just not installed. Don’t need to sell but also don’t need the toy”
