It looks like the seller put some effort into this rebuild.

“1946 WILLYS CJ2A, 2.5″ SPRINGLI, FT,  36″ SUPER SWAMPER TIRES,  T18 FORD 4SPEED w/LOW 1ST GEAR,  1970 JEEP/BUICK 225 V6 (DAUNTLESS CROSSFIRE) WAS BUILT BY ENG.-MACHINE SHOP – BORED & STROCKED TO 3.9 LITER, 1983 DANA 30 FRONT & DANA 44 REAR W/ ARB AIR LOCKERS FRONT & REAR,  DISC. BRAKES FRONT- DRUM REAR.  I BUILT THIS JEEP 8 YEARS AGO AND DROVE IT ABOUT 3000 MILES, JOB TOOK ME OUT OF TOWN AND THE JEEP HAS BEEN STORED FOR 5 YEARS.. I RUN IT ABOUT EVERY THREE MONTHS DURING STORAGE.”

If you are looking for an early CJ-2A, this has got some good elements, including the driver’s side cutouts, the column shifter, and a heater.  The passenger side fuel hole is interesting; I don’t believe that was stock?

“This early CJ-2A has an ID number of 16741.  It is a 3 speed on the tree.  It has a clear MO title. Below is the description: Motor – Org. 4 cylinder.  Just got back from machine shop.  All four cylinders were re-sleeved.  Crank was polished.  New pistons, valves, springs, etc  Everything still in boxes as you can see by the pictures. Interior – I have no seats. Does have a roll bar.  Floor is solid, except for the “bed”. It should be cut out and fitted with new metal.   Exterior – The only rust I can see is the passage side step. Some of the Hat Channel underneath will need to be cut (maybe 3 feet)  Tailgate is orginal, but is pretty rough.  I have no windshield and I don’t believe the hood is org. because there is no Willys stamped on it.”

This is a great looking CJ-5.  I suspect there’s a few additional upgrades on this jeep.

“1951 willys CJ3-A project. Has rebuilt 2.8 liter ford v-6. I will try to post some pics. or can email pictures to interested buyers. I’ve had this jeep since 1987. I never seem to have the time and money @ the same time to fix it. Needs wiring, lights etc,,, I have access to a trailer and can deliver on the olympic or kitsap peninsula. $2995 OBO”

Looks like there’s the typical door rust.  However, it’s running and there is extra parts.

“This Truck is a 1959 Willy’s Jeep (Mileage unknown )it runs Good and has lots of extras that will go with it, Extra frame, Motor, Drive-train all in Good condition as well I assume although have never had time to rebuild. everything was bought with the intention of using as extra parts and the Jeep wont die.”

Here’s an unusual find. It appears to be a pretty stock DJ-3A.  It looks to be in very good condition.  If it’s running and no rust, I’d say this is a great collector piece.

“1959 Willys Jeep. Antique. Hard top with sliding doors very rare. NOT A POSTAL JEEP. Has standard left hand drive. 3 speed on the column. Very little rust. Came from out west. 50,000 miles 4 cylinder flat head . New brake master cylinder.”

UPDATE:  I do not know whether this sold or not.  I’ll keep for historical purposes.

Obviously, these don’t appear every day.  Note that this one has been stretched 6 inches, which makes it ideal for placing on a CJ-5 frame.  It appears to have a solid back, like a DJ-3A.
