UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $5500.
(04/25/2013) The paint job certainly is unusual, but it looks solid. The description suggests the seller is confused the CJ-5 with the CJ-3B?
“This Willys is great fun to drive and sport around. It has street tires because it was used in parades and car shows. It would run about the desert better with fat tires. 53 is the year that Kaiser bought the company after the Koren war and started making Willys for civilians which is why there is the bigger engine and higher hood. You are buying a piece of history.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000
(05/11/2014) Appears to have the wrong data plates. Looks real good.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
(05/26/2013) “This 1954 Willys M38-A1 Jeep (Korean war era) was completely restored a few years ago to nearly like-new condition in olive drab with matching canvas upholstery and top. Attention to detail throughout. Extra clean frame, no rust, this jeep is a true eye catcher and a lot of fun to drive around town. Complete engine tune-up done approximately 12 months ago. Engine runs very strong on 4×4 or 4×2. This jeep drives very well, as a correctly restored and mechanically sorted 1/4-Ton 4×4 should. It has all the right military jeep stuff, including decals, combat lights, jerry can and spare. Door safety straps and reproduction of the original maintenance and operation manual are included. The Jeep has a clean California title.”
UPDATE: Was $8000, then was listed on eBay. Now is listed here.
(11/27/2014) Looks like this might be worth a look.

But it has its original Bantam tag, which looks to be SERIAL 2xx6. According to the owner I bought it from, it hasnt been registered in decades. No title. Bill of Sale only. Sold as-is. You’ll need to pick up with a truck (full-size bed) or a utility trailer.”
