Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 Willy’s Jeep Delivery (title as a Station Wagon) in storage since 1975, Burnt valve, pulled head and valve, Sprayed down with “Liquid Wrench” Been in storage ever since. Asking $2500 or best reasonable offer. I tried to get pictures of the rusted areas.”

Must have an updated motor since one of two heads is cracked.

“I have a 1945 Willy’s with a rust free frame for sale. New tires,rims,shocks,carburetor, fuel pump,tie rod ends. Needs brake work and axle seals and windshield. No time. Love to see this jeep get more attention then I can give it. Flathead 4 Hurricane was rebuilt. Not many miles since. But it was rebuilt about 35 years ago. Body was also done with heavy guage steel.”

(07/12/2015) This one is a few miles from me.
“1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep. It’s dark blue, not quite the original color Normandy Blue. The wheels are painted black. The serial number which if one assumes a linear production schedule for 1947, this Jeep rolled off the assembly line in early April.
Seat belts have been installed along with a roll cage. It has a new Parade cloth top which is supported by after market top irons. Rebuilt TRICO windshield wiper motor installed. After wiper motor installed (both pneumatic wipers work) and the heater works too. The mileage when I purchases it was 18,418. Since I purchased it in 2011 I have logged 1,347 miles on it. It has a 4 cylinder, flat head engine with a 3 speed manual transmission. Any additional questions please contact me.”

ANOTHER CJ-2A is included for parts – CJ-2A tub – windshield frame – grill with headlights – two (2) sets of flat fenders.
