This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Blaine spotted this Ford-302-to-T90 setup.
“Jeep aluminum bellhousing to adapt a Ford 302 engine to a Jeep T90 transmission kit, complete with #906203 main drive gear (long shaft 6 cylinder) with bearing, COAZ-7050 Ford bearing retainer and throwout bearing guide, throwout bearing and throwout bearing fork. The bellhousing has no cracks or dents and all threaded holes are in excellent condition. No damaged holes. Everything needed to mate a Ford 302 engine to a Jeep T90 transmission, except for the engine and transmission. This bellhousing is no longer manufactured. Very hard to find in even usable condition. Cash. Text or voicemail, please.”

Seller doesn’t think this was original to a 1961 CJ-5, but it in fact is a factory hardtop (minus the rust of course).

“Was running engine pulled from a ’52 or later Willy’s. Its only missing the carb and the distributor cap. Otherwise is complete with bellhousing. Will accept reasonable offers, no delivery. Has been stored with oil in it, intake manifold covered, and plugs in the head so it is a running core. You will need to pick up.”

“Aluminum top from CJ2. Fits similar models such as CJ3A or MB or GPW, with a little work. Fair condition. Could use some cleaning and TLC. One window cracked on passenger door. Rear window needs work. Might have been known as an Arctic Top. 300 or make offer.”

Jeremy provided this photo to show the top installed on the jeep. Because this is a post 1975 hardtop, it likely won’t fit a 1975 or earlier CJ-5 due to the angle and width of the windshield.
