Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1962 230 OHC straight six tornado engine made by Kaiser it has 5000 miles and is broke in, replaced one oil pump drive gear. It is a good running engine for a willys jeep or other project also have the machine shop receipt”

“I bought this FC bed out in western Nebraska with the intent of using it behind a cj10 cab.
That project changed hands and directions several times, and now I have an FC bed with no home for it.
I do consider chopping it to make it a different size for some other Jeep based pickup project.
But if someone needs it for an actual FC, that would be best.
It’s not pristine, so modifying it wouldn’t be a huge sin. But it’s solid enough that a real enthusiast might want or need it. Not many folks can say they’ve ever owned any forward control Jeep parts at all, so maybe you want it for bragging rights or to build a trailer for your flatfender.
I paid 500 several years ago, so I guess we can start there. Just my luck it’ll be worth 3000 and I still let it go for 500…”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $550.
The top looks in reasonable shape.
“eep Half Cab, came off of an early Willys CJ5. A fine example of an early Koenig cab. Great shape, complete, minimal surface rust. Windows go up and down. Left window cracked. No drill holes in roof. Model number unknown. I have the missing left door flange, top piece, the spot-weld just cracked off. As you can see it doesn’t fit my CJ3A, but I don’t want to chop this nice top up!”
Looks to be 10 spline hubs.

“No titles two frames and a ton of other parts sat in a field forever engine was locked up needs complete rebuild the transmission transfer case is a t-84 wwii steering wheel Rims I have all three styles two are non slotted I’ve got the axles brakes another block extra parts.. never had the tub for it one of the frames is rusted the other is good. You’ll have to come and take a look at whats here I haven’t looked at this stuff in a year or so..then make an offer.”
