Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s a project.
“This is a serious project, the tub is very rough and so are the fenders. the hood is ok, grill is ok, and windshield frame is good with good glass and no cracks. the motor is the buick 225 transmission is the factory T90 (i believe) and a dana 18 transfer case. The axles are both stock and in good condition. I have a lot of parts for it such as drive lines, long tube headers, and some other random parts.

This would make a good drivetrain donner our if you have a jeep with out a tittle buy mine and scrap this and get most of your money back from scrap. I just want to get rid of it it have been hanging around for about 10 years and needs to go.”

Looks solid. The steps have been repaired on this militarized 2A.

“1947 cj2a willys new mud tires roll cage has a high hood engine so air filter sticks through hood. has plastic gas tank front tow bar.. needs new distributer and shaft. gear on shaft is chiped.. don’t want to see it go to waste. have another windshield and a lot of parts for hard top”

(06/30/2014) Lots of diamond plating used in this ‘restored’ jeep.

(07/19/2012) On the plus side this has a rear PTO and colored contacts for the head light lenses.
“Overhaul= Red Devil 2.2 engine, trans, clutch, radiator, new shocks, alternator, starter, headlights, belts, new 12V battery, suspension springs, gas tank, seats, canvas top, custom game carrier, pto, 4×4 work and much more. I have all receipts, SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY. It took 3yrs to rebuild. I’m avid hunter, lost my Lease. Retired military used it daily at the lease, not street worthy. It runs strong powerful 3 speed manual engine and tops out around 60 mph in 3rd gear. My workhorse never let me down. I hate to sell it but, don’t need anymore. Jeep repainted to Lime Green. “Somebody stole my jeep from this location the morning of the 1st. If anybody has any information leading to the finding of it I will give them money. I had this cheap lesson 48 hours with my dream truck. Please help me find it. It’s green with a bulldog on both sides in front of door openings.”
