About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I’m selling my ’46 Willys CJ2A. It does not run and is in need of a restoration
Comes with title and many extra parts including: Engine block & Head, transmission, front and rear axles/differentials (almost enough to build another 2A with).”
“I have a 1946 CJ2A for sale. Engine transmission are included but out of Jeep. Has rust issues on tub. Includes seats, windshield, gas tank, grill, front fenders, pretty much complete except apart. Frame and rolling chassis is OK. Wheels and tires do NOT go with Jeep. I am keeping them for another Jeep I have. $300 cash. Possible hauling for a fee ?? Located in Watseka. Trade for WW2 Jeep parts???”
Fabulous deal! This will go quick. It even runs! I want it!
“1946 Willy’s CJ2A Jeep. The good – I brought this up from Colorado so it is not a complete rust bucket , has been converted to 12 volt, runs and drives enough to be loaded on a trailer. The Bad – Brakes are dried up and will need rebuilt, Flywheel ring needs replaced. This jeep sat in a field for 15 years, I changed the oil, lubed the cylinders and primed with fresh gas and it fired right up. Sounds real smooth once you get past the old gas. I have driven it around the yard to move it , but never no distance due to No Brakes. Great for Parts or to Fix up. Asking 700.00 obo will provide bill of sale or can assist with title work.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500. This has been lifted since the pics below.
(12/30/2011) It runs, but leaks oil badly. As if those two don’t normally go together. lol.

“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A (the first Jeep CJ). This jeep has a CLEAR TITLE. Needs restored or just fix mechanicals and drive it. The original 4 cyl. Willys engine runs EXCELLENT. All the electrical works including the turn signals. Needs brakes and new tires if you want to drive it. It runs great and will move around. 3 speed on the floor shifts good and clutch is good. These CJ2A’s are worth $20,000 restored (look it up on nada.com). A really neat jeep project for all the wrangler fans. Call before 10 pm 317-eight 6 2-9 5 3 9.”
