About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(10/31/2010) This flattie has seen a number of updates.
“Up for sale is a 1948 Willys Jeep 4X4. Has a 350HP Chevy 350 with corvette heads and headers, and Demon carb. Ford 9′ rearend and Dana 44 front with Warn locking hubs and power assisted disc brakes. Has new canvas top and doors, Interior is clean with full rollcage and custom dash with autometer guages. This jeep has lots of power.”
(10/19/09) There is quite a bit of work left in this, including some body work to make the body meet the fenders.
“If you are interested in it…please call do not email or text and I will give you directions. Do not offer me anything less or I will counter with a higher price then I listed it for the price is firm… It just needs a few things like seat belts and a couple of tabs and braces welded on. This is a sick ass Willy’s Jeep 4×4 that has been stretched and has a 231 Buick fireball V6 these are old pictures before I put the other seat in. It has custom headers cherry bombs and all it needs is a little work on the shifter but runs awesome. Price should be a lot more. I have both seats the front windshield and hood that was also stretched not pictured.”
I don’t see indents, but it has a column shift. The SN# 10928.
“1945 Willys Jeep with snow plow; Runs OK but Drives poor, needs to be completely restored, not road worthy. 4X4 works. This is an early column shift Willys. Production number is 10928, this willys will be worth more once restored because of the low number. Comes with some new steering parts that need to be installed. Michigan title.”
“Was running in 2009. Wouldnt take much to get it going i dont think. This is how i bought it and I just dont have time to mess with it. The starter is off so that needs to be put back on and it needs a battery. I do not have the title. $750 obo. Call or text, text is preferred but you can also email”

“1947 Willy’s CJ2A with Original Bantam trailer model T3-C serial # 6147. This Willy’s was purchased in Wisconsin after a frame off restoration approximately 100 miles ago. Always garaged, orig. tub, no floor rust, 12 volt conversion, solid frame. Engine is fantastic, starts everytime, little/no smoke. After months of winter storage no signs of oil leaks! Extras include a complete CJ2A frame, skid plate windshield canvas, (for transport), transfer case, PTO shifter. This Willy’s needs nothing other than a bath, I will post more pics after I clean her up. Bantam trailer is very cool, primed and ready to paint. Frame is in excellent condition, shackles are great! I think this is the original coupler, (fulton) I have lights and reflectors, as well as the original data plate. The serial numbers on the frame match the Cj2A body.”
To call this “All original” seems a stretch. It sounds like this runs.
“1949 Willys Jeep flat head four cylinder needs brake master cylinder but brakes do work. This Jeep is all original has been repainted has a tow bar. Needs some work. $1500.00 O.B.O Please call 972-955-4364 after 5:00 pm. Thank You!”
(01/05/2011) This appears to be a lefty at first glance, but I can just make out the bow holders on the driver’s side. Also, I was able to lighten up the passenger side and I see no indication there were bow holders on that side, but it does appear their was a spare tire holder there. I suspect the corner is weak or rusted.
“Runs great 4wd works great great jeep all stock but wheels and tires grandpa just wants a new toy call jake at 405-203-9616 or call joe at 405-284-6890.”
