About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Possibly trade for side by side , four wheeler or ford truck. Truck must run but body can be a bad. Late 40s cj2a body stretched 10 3/4 inches and mounted to a 1990 yj chassis. Floors need to be completed. Was planning a v8 and 1 ton swap . Does currently run and drive but not sure how good the motor is . Has a 2.5 4 cylinder, ax15 , 231 t case , dana 30 front and 35 rear .not sure of gearing or if they match. All stock yj . Not sure of overall condition of the drive train because i was going to swap it all . Cool project . All controls are already figured out . Pickup in ft mitchell. I have driven it around the property a good bit . No title . Serial number “vin plate” is missing”
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A around 1000 miles on rebuilt engine, Fiberglass body, stainless steel CJ-3a windshield, Full roll cage best top seats, full soft top with side windows, and Best top center console. Painted the frame and body at that time as well. 4000lb winch. Spare tire carrier. New 700×16 tires. New carb and front end parts last summer. I don’t use it enough to keep. Fun Jeep.”
(11/14/2020) This lacks a motor, tranny, and tc. Listed as 1947 (probably a seller guess), it appears to be a 1946 based on the data plates and grille..

“1948 cj2a. Very old restoration all mechanical is been gone through. Body is solid but paint is old. Driver seat has been moved back ( plenty of room for bigger people ) has a blinker system installed. Starts and runs great – Drives great ( just slow top speed 50 maybe ). This is not a show Jeep. It is a great driver and a Jeep you can use For any questions call [hidden information]. Have done way to much to enter all the work that has been done”
“Clean, road ready 1946 CJ2A. Previous owner did the following: newer seats, military tires, rebuild engine (date unknown), new fuel tank, carburetor, brakes, 12 v system. Has complete set of new gages that need to be installed. THIS JEEP IS A DRIVER AND A FUN ONE! Its not going to win you any trophies for best appearance. The body does not have any rust and the frame is solid. Someone did a lousy job using bondo on the hood but its still in good condition. My plan was to install an aftermarket MB / GPW body on it but a land purchase has changed all. Drives excellent.”
“1948 Willys model jeep. Great shape considering the age, but will need work to get it running. Would make a great toy by the lake or off road machine”
