Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1950 Willys Cj3a. I bought this about 10 years ago in Idaho and decided I wanted to put the original L-Head back in. I found an engine in excellent condition, with a high compression head on it. I swapped the original engine, transmission, t-case back in, but didn’t really button the job up. I also started a dual master cylinder conversion, but haven’t finished that, so consequently it has no brakes now. But I’ve got the parts for that.
It’s got rust in the normal spots, especially in the channels on the belly, but the body’s actually in pretty good shape. I’ve kept it in my shop, never out in the rain.
Show up with a trailer and I’ll help you load it. I’ve got the title, but I never transferred it into my name, so it’s the previous owner’s Idaho title.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** was $2250.
Given the column shift, this is likely a 1946 CJ-2A.

“Great jeep, runs strong. Starts real quick. Has unlocking hubs roll cage, and seat belts. Roll cage and seat belts can be removed if desired. Paint is rough in spots, but the drivetrain is in excellent condition”
UPDATE: Terry noticed that the front frame rails may well be broken. He mentioned it was likely the result of being picked up from the front bumper.
There appear to be some body patches along the driver side.
