About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Seller listed the price as $2000, but is interested in offers. The top is dented (from a tree)? and the front bumper looks like it hit something. It’s been parked since 1972.
“Listing this for my dad! Message me for his number! Please call him for questions or details. 1948 Willy’s 2J2A Jeep. All original gearing. 4 cylinder flat head, 6 volt system. The engine was running when I parked it back in 1972. Hasn’t run since. MAKE ME AN OFFER!”
“If this is posted, yes it’s still available. I will no longer respond to the 30-40 people per day asking that question.
A literal barn-find 1947 CJ2A. Good title in hand. Mostly complete and in unmolested condition. Does NOT run. Bring a trailer and cash, or ask about possibly delivering (for a fee). Needs restoration.
Our business is restoring WWII and classic Jeeps. We simply have too many projects, so we’re letting this one go to free up some space. Does NOT run. NEEDS restoration. HAS title. PROJECT Jeep”
“Fully restored numbers matching 1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep painted in the factory yellow color. Original drive train. This Jeep runs and drives and stops fine. Everything operates as it should. Also has Rebuilt engine. Im exploring a trade for an equal value RUNNING AND DRIVING RESTORED Model A Ford in Trade. I will NOT chop up your Model A for a hotrod or ratrod. It will be driven and enjoyed like I did with the Willys Jeep. Please, dont contact me if you’re not serious or with a fixer upper.”
“First year after war production. Starts, runs, drives. Needs glass for windshield. Windshield frame and tailgate not shown, but included. Pretty nice shape now, it was a basket case when I got it. No title, but I have bill of sale from previous owner. Make a really good hunt vehicle.”
“1947 Willy’s project
On a 1969 jeep chassis with mounts set up for the 1947 body.
327 Chevy motor
Dana 18 transfer case
1969 jeep axles
A bunch of other new and used parts.
The fenders, hood, body, etc is not bolted to the frame. I just set them on for the pictures.
I was planning on buying a new steel tub for it or you can fix the one it has. It comes with a title.”
“Very Early Civilian model CJ2A. If this ad is still up it’s still for sale. Ser#18711, ’46 column shift. The frame, drivetrain, and body have been primered. This jeep does not have an engine. The body has had some bad spots cut out and patch panels made. The panels fit great but are not welded in. You can weld in these panels, or buy reproductions and use them depending on how precise of a restoration you want to do. This is a great restoration candidate, still has the column shifter and transmission. I do have other parts available for this project.”
This is an early CJ2A Willys Jeep with a column shift. Jeep was originally green with yellow wheels. Tub and frame have original matching vin tags. Trans and transfer case are original. I have another original column that goes with including new shift rods. Engine is free but has small crack in water jacket. I am including another early cj block that is in good shape. I wanted to restore this one as column shift jeeps were only made for a few months. Plans have changed so it is up for sale.”
“This is a full set of vintage top bows to fit a Willys Cj2a. These are genuine Jeep parts not reproduction. The set also includes the brackets that fasten to the windshield and a pair of door sockets that attach to the body for the lower door attachment.”
