This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (03/09/2015) It runs. The body has had sections replaced.
“This Jeep has been with me longer than my kids. I installed a new transmission about five years ago. It has not been driven much since. It runs great needs tires, they are weather cracked. Please contact me so we can find her a good home.”

“Jeep Willys 1947, this is a project car, everything original, comes with original engine, transmission, body in acceptable condition not rust. I bought a lot of original parts separately. Clean title.”

Jeep has been dissassembled. The windshield looks to be aftermarket.

“1947 jeep cj2a, all original body and drive train, all drive line components have be restored or replaced, rust free body. Original seats recovered, has front and optional rear heater, new “best” top ,with doors. Everything works as it should, and still running on 6volt system.Great for parade’s or beach town.Please call John.”
This appears to have a replacement body and some full floating hubs.
