About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I believe the tub is a 46 cj2a and the frame/motor is from an m38a1. Its still running on 24 volt with the l134. Runs and drives, needs brake work. Can get more pictures if needed. Don’t drive it anymore, rather see it get used than sit. Price obo.”
“1962 Willys jeep M38A1. It was a military jeep, still has original motor, transmission exc. motor runs, just needs a few things. Breaks aren’t bolted in right so it will need to be towed. I bought it with the intention of restoring it but its just too much of a project for me to take on at the moment. These are super rare to come by, i also have doors and half doors.”
“Vintage Collectible CJ-3B Willys Farm Jeep with PTO. (Power Take Off)
This is partially restored.
Following has been replaced new: tires, radiator, wiring harness, alternator, ignition wires, brakes, rear main seal, overhaul gasket set, horn, switches. All purchased paperwork along with owners manual and service manual.

This farm jeep runs great and is a rare find.”
“This is a 1953 M38A1 jeep that I did a full frame off restoration and engine rebuild. The horn does not work. Drives well. New canvas seats. Low miles on almost new tires. Clear Iowa Title.”
The seller will sell all the jeeps for $7900. I’ve only posted on pic for each jeep. The pics on Facebook are not in the order described by the seller.
“I am selling off a portion of my Jeep/Willys collection. These are multiple projects that I’ve acquired. Typically, I had to buy everything to get the pieces I need.
Pictures 1-5: Late 70’s cj5 and a 57 Willys. No title on 70’s but 57 has a clean title non op in my name. 57’s body is beat. Tons of parts included $4000 for both
Pictures 6-9: 1947 Willys with v8 and early 50’s Willys with I6. 47 has a clean title non op in my name but the body is rusted. 50’s has no title but body is in much better shape. Both have overdrives. No idea on running condition. $2200 for both Pictures
Pictures 10-13: 1953 M38a1 with data plates and vin on dash and hardtop & doors. Never been registered. 1958 cj5 in pieces, but I have a clean title non op in my name. Wheels not included. $2700 for both. FB limits my post, so I can’t give all necessary info. Each package has tons of parts included. Spare engines, axles, body parts, etc. All prices are firm.
This has an unusual data tag. As best as I can tell, this jeep is an M-38A1 “D”, at least based on m381.com page’s reference to the XM28 tag (see comparison tag here). This may have been one of the last converted M-38A1s into a “D” variant, given only approximately 50 were converted at the Detroit Arsenal.
