Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This is a wagon and chassis. Apparently, other parts are included as well.

This looks rough. The auction is located in Sparta, MO, on August 19th, 2012.
The truck has some dust, but otherwise looks nice. The jeep is listed as a 1950, but I’m guessing it is more likely a CJ-2A.

This is worth a closer look. It has a nicely aged patina to it. As long as it runs and drives, I’m not sure I’d want to do much more to it.
