About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I’m selling a 1942 Willys Jeep tub with title. Tub is a GPW which is very similar to an MB. This was a trail Jeep that I dismantled in order to use most of the parts on a different Jeep. Being a trail Jeep it has more than it’s fair share of bumps, bruises and modifications. Use your own drivetrain and axles and make a cool rock crawler or sand Jeep. If you’re looking for a Jeep to restore to original condition, I’m sure you can find a better candidate than this one.
Provide your name and phone number in your e-mail or I will not respond.
This is what is included:
Tub, fenders, hood, grill, headlights, 12 gallon RCI fuel cell, frame, title with registration good until September. After September it will be on non-op status.
Here are some of the things that are not included:
Engine, tranny, transfer case, axles, windshield. I do have a few miscellaneous items I could throw in depending on what you need for whatever you’re going to make of it.
The title stays with the tub and frame. I’m not selling any of the parts separately at this time. And just to save us all some time, the no haggle price is $500. No trades or other offers will be considered. Provide your name and phone number in your e-mail or I will not respond.
More pictures available.”
These are a good price. Wished I had found these when I was building biscuit.
“Unmounted pair of Fiberglass Fenders for a flat fender Willy’s.
$100 for the pair. FIRM (I paid $100 each).
No I will not sell one. These will need to be prepped/sanded prior to paint just like any other fender would. They have a few scratches on them and a dirty, but great deal at $100.

Email if interested with phone number and I will call you right back.”
I’m not sure how much search pulled up a UK add, but what the heck …
“The nicest tub and frame you ever saw! No added sheetmetal, welds, bondo or any media blasting of any kind. This jeep has never been left outside. Frame tub and any drivetrain parts shown are included. Let me know if you have any questions I will keep it short here since the pictures show the story. The closer you look at this body the better it looks.
No Rust!!”
The price is right. I don’t know who made these or whether new ones are still available.
“I have an all fiberglass Jeep racing body up for sale. Super light fiberglass with wooden braces molded in. measures 56 1/2″ wide, 133″ long, 25 tall. the engine bay/hood is 44″ long. the hood scoop is not factory and needs patchwork done around the edge of it. other than that it isnt cracked or anything anythere that i can see. would like it to be picked up but i am wiling to deliver from baldwin, Wi area to Maplewood, MN any weekday”
This looks solid, however the floors are fiberglass.
“I have a 1948 CJ2A tub in pretty good condition. It was restored about 8 years ago but now has a few minor issues that need a little bit of work. The floors are all fiberglass so you could cut that out and replace the floor pans. Other that that it’s a really good start! It even has the original AX brackets still on the tub!
$650 OBO

This looks like a late 80s Bobcat racing body with that extra wide rim around the back. However, I don’t think any Bobcat bodies came with stock looking steps. This one is unusual.
“I have a white jeep cj-2a fiberglass tub with the fenders. The brake lights are in and may work. as well as the heater. Body has some minor damage from moving around. As you know, fiberglass is very easy to repair. I’m asking $800.00 obo. . I’m selling to pay for an engine for my xr650l. The only things I’m willing to trade for is another xr650l engine, bike, or a rebuild trade. send me an email or call during the day at nine one four, three one eight, one eight two seven. This thing isn’t perfect, but will dress up that rusted out jeep of yours. And make it lighter.I can email you some pics. I can also deliver it to you within reason.( just help with gas)”
