Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s cool, but it’s a CJ-3A not CJ-3B.

Note the bottom blue tub. It has the custom dash that I’ve seen on 5 or 6 or jeeps from California. Also, it appears that it doesn’t have a driver’s side gas inlet as a part of the original design. Anyone know anything about these bodies?

“CJ-5 Jeep Fiber Glass Body Kit. I was going to use this body for a drag jeep that i was building. Never been mounted. Fiberglass white. paid $1200. or trade for New radial white walls 3″ 225/70-15.”
I ran across this ad for brand new corner diamond plating. The seller is charging $58 for the pair, plus shipping. My initial search suggests this is a great price.
“Here I have a set (left & right) of brand new Jeep cj5Aluminum diamond plate corner guards. They will fit cj5 & willies Jeeps. I have also have some of my customers use them on there 1940s and up CJ2A jeeps.. The corner guards measure 16″ x 24″ . The thickness on these corners are strong 14 gauge and are made in the USA .. These are great for Dressing up your Jeep and protecting it at the same time. They are also great for covering body damage or rust. The corners are pre-bent so they will go on nice & easy with the supplied self-tapping stainless steel screws to fasten the corner guards to your Jeep ….”
Steve’s got this good looking grille for sale, though I believe it’s a M-38 grille. Note the holes at the bottom. I believe they are for attaching the M-38 grille hinges.
