Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1945 Willys CJ-2A built for show and fun. Buick 231 High-Performance EST HP 320. Will wheel stand on command. Truck 3-speed manual trans; Warn overdrive; 1953 CJ-3A dana 44’s. Custom built over 8 years and has been inside and warm and dry all of its life since restore started in 1989. Full tilt front fiberglass front clip and original steel tub. 18X39 Mickey Thompsons on 15X14 Weld Super Singles; Rancho RS-9000; Boxed and reinforced frame; Clean inside and out; Tilt collude with wipers and light incorporated; Four point racing harnesses: Front Electric Brake line lock and rear driveshaft e-brake; Alpine paging alarm with interior detection; Street Legal Horseless Carriage licensed; Power Steering; Under seat drivers heater; SS braided brake lines and SS braided engine compartment Lines and way more than can be listed. This was completely pulled apart and all bolts polished SS cap head screws wherever possible. Will not disappoint.

“All body and interior parts of Willys 1947 CJ2A, including tub, tailgate, fenders, hood, grill, instruments, and seat frames.
All in fair original shape, with some rust that will need patching in floor, and threshold area (see pictures. Fenders, hood, and grill solid, but normal dings and dents. Never bondo-ed, never patched.
All parts sold together until 6/7/13, when I will part out separately if not sold as package.”

“Have a willys jeep the guy I got it from said it was a 1950 didn’t have title but I have a clear 1948 title and tag for the motor in the jeep is locked up and has a cracked rear cylinder all set up 6 volt I bought a motor from a guy in Wisconsin he said it is drop in ready to run and is set up for 12 volt butI cracked carb spacer and distriburator cap it tipped in transit but the one in jeep will fit the frame and body are in good shape min, rust the only major rust is floor under gas tank and seat easy fix and in bottom tool box under pass seat tires look good in picture but are dryrotted all gauges and factory tags are in tack have brand new gas tank for it asking $1700.00 or best offer”

“I have a Jeep Willy CJ2A for sale, Runs good but needs pull started right now. We have no time to restore it or drive it (to many other toys and hobbies). This has been in the family a long time and comes from South Dakota so there is maybe just a small spot with rust if any. I know for sure it needs new seats and windsheild.
