About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1948 CJ2A Jeep Willys. It does not have a transmission but everything else appears to be there. Has a motor but have never heard it run. I do not want to go through the hassle of parting it out so ill let somebody take it out of here for $800. I know it is worth more than that in parts so the right guy can make some serious cash off it. The body seems to be pretty free of rust considering its age. No title and will need to be towed or trailered out of here. It rolls and steers just fine. Call or Text any time. Please no dumb offers. $800.”
“For Sale are several items. First is a 1946 Jeep CJ2A. This Jeep has a 4.3L V6 in it. Extra parts the Jeep has are as follows: two windshields (one solid, one that splits in half), two aluminum doors, home made bumpers, two hoods, two steering columns, extra front and rear axle, two extra transmissions and transfer cases. Old set of tires and rims. I was planning a disk conversion and have a new XJ pedal assembly with a new clutch and brake master cylinder (the old is still attached, have a new master cylinder for that also). I also have the seats out of an XJ for this Jeep. I also have a new aluminum radiator. Unfortunately, it is mostly in parts right now, the body and motor/transmission are on the frame, but it is not in running order. Asking $1300 (this vehicle has a title).
Separately, I have an unused Rancho 2.5 inch lift kit for a CJ2A with RS-5000 shocks and the swing shackles (these were extra, not included in the kit). Asking $550 (firm) for the entire kit (has 4 springs, 4 shocks, swing shackles and hardware).
Lastly, I have a set of Advance Adapters Jeep outside frame rail headers (PN 717019-HDR, one is painted black, the other is still bare steel, also have the gaskets). These are also unused. Asking $250 for these (firm).”
“Deciding to part with one of my projects, It’s a 1946 Willys CJ2a “Go Devil” 4 cyl engine- Turns over but can’t get it running, will fire occasionally but not run. Tub is pretty rusty, I started to cut out some spots and removing some of the old layers of paint but if you want to restore it it would probably be easier to buy a new tub
Frame is solid Newer brakes, new Solex carb(carter WO included) new points, condenser, coil, and plug wires. Have a new fuel pump for it but have not put it on.”
“This is a 1947 CJ 2 A. This Jeep was bought new in Calif.by the Edison Co. and used for four years and then sold. My friend bought it from the Edison Co. in Calif. and then took it up to his cabin in the Sierra mountains and used it. It was stored in a shed when not used. Then it was moved to his hangar and stored and that is where it is now. That was 49 years ago! I am the third owner since new. I have owned this Jeep for over 8 year. This Jeep has very little rust. I had the rims sand blasted and painted and installed 5 new tires and tubes.
5 new tires and tubs
rims sand blasted and painted
very little rust
not running
$4,700.00 or trade for 1978 to 1985 CJ 7”

“I have a 47 Jeep Willys I’d like to sell. Been slowly working on it and have my eyes on a new project. I’ve gone through a lot on this. Needs a head gasket to be able to drive. I’ve replaced the entire fuel system and gone through the rear brakes, ignition, and now it needs a new home. It’s fun to drive and would be a perfect project for someone wanting a parade Jeep.
It has a tow bar and can be towed.
I’m firm on the price.
I don’t need help selling.
This is a private party, person to person, sale only.
No scams.”
“Body on Frame restoration just completed. Have clear title in hand. Too many things new or rebuilt to list. I don’t need to trade, won’t except your big check and send money back. This is a Cash at time of sale deal only. Numerous photos upon request. Runs and drives great.”
