Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. My guess is that this is a 2A, though it is listed as a 1944. It looks like the front bumper and gussets have been removed. It looks to have an early 2A grille.

New seat cushions and upholstery

“willys cj2a with body is a parts vehicle for the cj3a without the body. I have another tub in better shape but still not great. Bunch of new parts, old parts, and extra parts. Jeep with no body is in great shape. Frame is solid and unmodified, suspension is not hammered, Everything is still 6 volt. New battery and hold down, new starter and generator, all ignition parts are new. “This is a 1946 Willy’s CJ2A that is approximately 70% restored including completely rebuilt engine (L134 Go Devil – Purrs …), transmission, transfer case, suspension, custom roll bar, etc.
The lower floor was replaced due to rust under the fuel tank. I have pretty much everything except for a new fuel tank, which rusted out, and the under seat tool box for the new floor.
I have personally owned this for over 45 years and unfortunately must now sell.”
