Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 cj2a, with Warn overdrive. Winch (needs tlc) and tow hitch In front. Has minor rust and the passenger floor pad has a hole. It runs and drives great. good tires, spare mounted in rear. Good title, tagged historic. Sold with no top. 4500, firm.. Good for restoration or daily driver, just not in the rain. Serious Buyers Only!

“Barn find… had been sitting for 30 years so there is some rust on the body. Engine is clean, runs smooth. New (rebuilt) transmissson /XFR case, carb, radiator, master cylinder, other stuff I had to do to make it run and drive. (You also get the original parts like the fuel pump that I replaced with an electric one and the heater). Located in Central Utah, buyer to pick up or make shipping arrangements. For the right price I might deliver it anywhere in the continental US.”

“1946 Willys Jeep 4 wheel drive with lockout front hubs, all steel body, new tires on 15″ aluminum spoke mag wheels, new steering rods and tie rod ends, new brake master cylinder and rebuilt wheel cylinders, new windshield. 350 cubic inch Chevy engine with 4 barrel carb. Starts and runs good. The head lights and brake lights need to be fixed. Call, email or text. Asking 2900 or best offer. Always stored inside. The title is lost. Serial number is still shown on the firewall.”

have had Jeep for 10+ years. Used at hunting camps and for running local errands. Some of the work done include: new fiberglass tub & fenders, converted to 12 volt, complete new wiring, rebuilt transmission & transfer case, new front & rear drive shafts, rebuilt front & rear ends, rebuilt radiator, new gas tank. Non-operative items: no wipers, no horn, parking brake. Currently licensed – dec 2014.”

“Alright attempt number one, looking to sell a 1948 Willy’s Jeep CJ3a. It is beautiful and is truly something that needs better care than I can give it at home. We are in need of some home repairs so it needs to go. If has the original engine and from what I am told will go anywhere but I never put it to the test…..to pretty lol. Price is something that can be negotiated. Ok so I keep forgeting things but a couple items to mention, has a Warn winch, top comes off….shoot I can’t remember everything…check out the pics. 🙂 Thanks”
