Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Up for sale is my 1947 Wild Willy’s jeep. This jeep has a 350 V8 with a 5 speed manual transmission. Call if you have ?’s, no joy rides. Jeep is garage kept and does not come out in the snow.”

“For sale 1948 Willys jeep with plow. Starts, runs, does not include battery. I have owned this jeep for 35+ years and have hauled cordwood with it and plowed my driveway. I am moving and no longer in need of a jeep. It does have a broken leaf spring which should be easily repairable. Also, snowplow operates, but needs work. (Missing 2 springs). Will accept best offer.”

The body’s been patched a bit. It’s listed as a 1948, but also listed as a CJ-3A.
“CJ 3a. Runs great, 4 wheel drive works. Carburetor just rebuilt. Inside sprayed with rhino liner color matched to outside color. The bottom of the sides are also sprayed with the rhino liner
New seats. Ready for summer fun. Tow bar means you don’t need a trailer to haul this around, 2 inch ball and your ready to take it to the woods for fun. Clean Florida title in hand.”
