This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 WILLYS CJ2A Flat Fender Jeep – 4×4. It has a 4 cyl. engine with rare 3-speed column shift. Tow bar in front, tow hitch in rear. VEC (Very Early Civilian). Serial no. 12,950. This piece of American history, nearly 70 years old, came from a farm in Sullivan, Missouri. It was used for beaver hunting. I have the old Missouri title. This vehicle is smog test exempt. I have clear Calif. title in my name. It has a “Date of Manufacture” Calif. License Plate.”

“1946 Jeep Willys in excellent condition. Runs great, no rust, tires are in good condition, recently painted. Includes a roll bar, tow bar, and never been used soft top (same as in picture except with clear windows).”
UPDATE: **SOLD**. Was listed at $1850.
This is has square washers on the windshield, column shift, indents and full floating rear hubs.

The paint job is unusual, but it looks like it could be a good price.
“Has original motor. Changed it to 12 volt. Runs, Drives. Slips out of 2nd gear and doesn’t have a parking brake cable. Comes with soft top with doors, jerry can with holder, locking hubs, hi-lift jack and CB radio
Also comes with extra set of axles front and rear. Fenders (little rusted), hood, Front grill window frame and drive lines.”
