“I have a 47 willys cj2a I would like to sell or trade. it is running and driving but is a project that needs finishing touches. i am selling cheap because I don’t have any papers for it right now. not that hard to apply for a lost title and get everything signed into your possesion. woulld.like to trade for an AR 15 chambered in .223/.556 , or a .204 ruger, or a glock model 23/27/30 plus cash or an Fn 5.7, maybe other trades just ask. also interested in winches for.my trucks, a grey set of buckets with center console for an older powerstroke, other powerstroke parts, a protech headache rack for an f-150, maybe a lift kit for an 88 f-150 or a 95 f-350, a nice bow or muzzle loader, or a pit bike. my phone number is 253-307-4873 jeep has a 289 v8 mild build with a 3 speed manual, dana 20 twin stick transfer case and advance adapter. dana 27 front axle with warn hubs, ford 8.8″ rear. both have 3.73 gears. nice roll cage, fuel cell, bucket seats, custom center console that holds 2 batteries, toolbox built in the rear,stainless dash, electric fan, winch ready, custom bumpers, tow bar, new clutch, new exhaust gaskets, new u joints, new plugs, wires, good battery, starter, alternator, new exhaust, comes with a hard top that could be refurbished. tub has been notched to fit a taller person, tilt steering. great jeep to fix up. probably more I’m forgetting. needs little finishing touches such as brake lines bled, tuck a few wires, and maybe replace a guage or two. blinkers, tail lights, horn and brake lights all work!”

“47 willys CJ-2a. No title, will provide bill of sale, all vin tags intact. Overhead f-134 engine, t-90, dana 18 twin stick transfer case. Was complete until I took off some hoses and generator and starter for another project. I do not know if it would run. Before I took off some parts I did check and it had compression. Motor spins freely, trans and transfer case shift smooth. Has 5:38 gears. Body is very rough, seats are just sitting in the jeep and are not original and torn. 5 matching older tires nylon 10 x 16.5. Front frame horns have usual ugly gusset ing. I would keep and look for another body or for parts but space is limited. $600 firm.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $4000
(10/29/2013) This modified flattie has a Bobcat fiberglass body. I don’t see too many with the branded tailgate.

All new parts and accessories. New 235×15 tires mounted on off-road wheels. New front seats. Rear buddy seat. 2 canvas tops and back curtain. Everything works, including heater & fan! Simple and reliable. Starts every time without choke. Runs great! Economical! Fun and cool to drive!

One jeep is listed as a 1946, but obviously, it’s a M-38. The other two appear to be CJ-2As.
“1946 Willys jeep.The guy I got it from had owned it for 25 years and it had been running.He had replaced the shocks with new monroe and had tuned up and then it has sat since and has been stored out of the weather since I have owned it about 4 years.Also I have 2 parts jeeps both 1948 and they have no titles as they were in the jeeps but were totally unreadable.Also have extra parts as in the pictures. Can store as long as needed if they are paid for.Auction is for the 1946 Jeep and any and all parts wanted. There is an extra aluminum cab with doors in great shape,extra wheels and tires,the parts jeeps do have engines and transmissions and are mostly complete.The 1946 is really in good condition and amazingly rust free and has the hood cut out as with military and has indents for the shovel and axe.All sold as is where is.Thanks and good luck.”

3 speed Manual trans., 2 lever transfer case.
Rear mounted PTO gearbox with driveshaft and shift lever on floor. (Rare)
16″ wheels all the way around.
Original roof bows, and door frames.
Original gauges in good shape.
Original seat frames.
Frame is in good condition. (Never plowed, frame horns good).
Body is decent, some rust but saveable.
This could be restored or used for parts. (I know that this could be parted out for a lot more!)
If you win the bid, and just want parts, I can have them removed and shipped to you.

(08/31/2013) It’s a project, but it looks in good shape.
“1948 Willys CJ2A 4×4 Project, Has a chevy 283 bored 0.30 solid lifters, wiend stealth intake, Mallory magnetic breakerless ignition and Mallory super coil, 33″ tires and super single style rims 15×10, keg converted into fuel tank, rancho shocks and lift, 2 sets of seats one set plastic molded and the other is out of an Acura.
This motor ran super, I have since used the carb and battery on other projects, it has a broken rear axle so it will need to be trailered even though it has a tow bar attached to the front, all in all I’ve had it garaged since 1995 when I bought it. This is a good base for off road fun, the motor ran strong and loud with a definite lope, turns head even on the trailer, contact me with any questions more than happy to talk about the mods that have been made.”
