UPDATE: Still Available
(10/22/2013) Lots of updates to this flattie.
“I have a 1946 MJ flat fender jeep that I have for sale. Its originally from Arizona which means the actual body is in great shape a little surface rust but not much. The motor is a crate 327 coupled to a turbo 350 transmission. The flowmaster exhaust sounds awesome. Does not have a transfer case so it is 2wd. I’ve been told the motor only has a couple hundred miles on it. It has been sent to me from my family in arizona. If you know anything about these jeeps you will understand when I say im 6’3″ and frankly dont really fit in it. sitting on brand new 33x 12.5 radial svt tires. I would consider it to be more of a hot rod then a jeep but to make it a 4×4 just put a transfer case in and your set. It does have collector plates on it now but other then starting it and letting it warm up it doesnt get used so I figure its time for it to go. If you have any questions email me and ask and I will do my best to answer any questions.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
Runs, but no title.
“1947 Jeep Willys was being build for a mud race truck, but don’t have time for it anymore. Asking $2000 or will take best offer. Runs, no title bill of sale only, Tires do hold air would be Great for Deer lease hunting buggy. ”
UPDATE: Was $2500. **SOLD**
Runs and drives.
“This is a 1947 Willys CJ2A. It is running and driving. The distributor is totally worn out and we plan to replace it when the new one we have on order shows up. The steering is pretty worn like most of these are. It has been sitting for a while and the brakes will most likely need bleeding. It will need a 12 volt battery and fresh gas. The 4×4 works fine and the motor holds 30 to 40 psi oil pressure. It has been patched here and there on the body but looks pretty decent.
We are not interested in trading for cars, trucks, livestock, Boats, or ATVs. I will consider other willys jeeps. Bring cash and the jeep will come with a bill of sale.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4800.
(12/21/2013) I wonder if that windshield is a modified 2A? Looks like the front clip has been stretched pretty cleanly.
