This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Two 1948 Willy’s Jeeps. One is a CJ2 the other is the military jeep. The CJ is more complete than the military one. Between the two should be able to make one work. Both have the original engine and trans. Have pink for one not the other. Neither have been registered in so long they are not on record at the DMV. Email me with a phone number I will call you back. Price is OBO, I know they are rough, but to the right person they could run again or be great for original parts. I am looking for 4bt cummins motor or 12 valve cummins if you’d like to trade.”

There might be some value here, but the body looks rough. It appears to have a MB/GPW windshield.

“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep, has a freshly rebuilt engine as well as radiator both have less than 300 miles on them. The Jeep has the original 6V system intact. I purchased this jeep last year with the plan to do a total restoration. My wife and I have since welcomed a child and I just don’t have the time for a project this large right now. I have more than 10K into this project, I’m just looking to not loss to much on it. Asking $6,500.00 or best offer. Jeep has a title and is currently street legal”
