About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The front bumper looks mounted a little too far to the passenger side or is it an optical illusion?

“Up for grabs is my 1946 Willys CJ2A. Serial Number 15777. This is one of the few three on the tree Column Shift models that was made. All of the major components are original and the serial number on the frame and tub match. The only modifications that have been made are the aftermarket oil filter, fuel pump, 12V alternator, and the front brake drums were changed to Ford 9″ using a conversion kit. This Willys runs and drives. I just installed a new fuel tank and I recently had the floor boards replaced. There are a few things that need to be addressed. The rear drive shaft is removed right now; the speedometer cable needs to be replaced. One front headlight and bezel need to be replaced. 713-252-7864”

Brett spotted this jeep. This still needs a little bit of ‘tweaking’.

“1948 willys Jeep in great condition, rebuilt transmission and overdrive. New tires, brakes, shocks. Has vinyl top with doors, has been changed from six volt to a twelve volt electrical system. Brake and clutch peddle part are new.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** The jeep is 2wd with four lug hubs. Was $1000. May be part DJ.
I’m not sure parting this out will fetch more that $1000, but a seller can always hope.
“After doing some research I believe this is a 47-48 willys cj2a.. doesn’t have the original motor and I don’t think it runs.. I’m not goin to be interested in much less than $1000 or trade because I have seen that parting it out would be that or more..”
(10/10/2011) This has a new repro body plus a trailer.
“Good, five year old, amateur restoration, circa WW ll. New reproduction steel body over rebuilt 1946 Willys engine, and frame, with munitions trailer. Jeep in good condition with very minor surface rust. Munitions trailer in fair condition. Runs good with few miles on engine rebuild. Location: Sterling, Illinois.”
