Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This runs. Looks in pretty good shape, but does need some work.
“Runs good…..needs some work; “like all old jeeps.” To make street ready; need to fix tail lights.
For the most part this is original with a few exceptions; 12 volt conversion, new manifolds, larger fuel tank, added roll bar.
Low rust, however the windshield does have a poor rusted arm that was sent for repair. I was not happy with the repair and the shop also cracked one side of the glass.
I purchased this jeep from a person who had it stored in his garage for several years. I did license the jeep and took it for short drives to the grocery store. I just do not have the storage for this jeep.”

The driver’s seat has been shifted to the right and then moved back pretty far. Body is fiberglass.

This is a project with a fiberglass bobcat hood.
“I have a 46 willys jeep for sale. With a good running chevy 305 and a Muncie 4 speed tranny with hurst shifter. I recently striped the body and gave it a nice coat of epoxy primer. Jeep has a 6 point roll cage willys hood and an after market fiberglass hood (both are Primered). The windshield is the only piece that isnt primered and it need a new glass. Jeep also has 14X33″ boggers. Jeep has fiberglass bucket seats with covers. Front axle needs a little work but other than that this is a mean off roading machine. Just dont have the time to make it what I want. 3200 OBO”
This has the three dataplates. I can’t tell if it has the indents or not.

“This jeep was left in the barn of a house i just purchased. missing block to motor..most other parts in back.. there is surface rust under body and some throughout but over all good shape in the body. one spot rusted through.. i have 15 pictures of all angles and views i can send via text or call seven 6 five- 5 seven 1- 12 five 2…i have done as much research as i can online for this thing and my price is best offer between now and the time i run out of remodeling money., i have no intention of taking on the project. The jeep has a lot of potential to make for a good restoration project. Thanks”
