Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Willys Jeep. In good shape, runs but needs work to be drivable. Has WW2 Ford Jeep engine install in it at this time (1942 GPW) Has some rust in the floor braces. Has new tires. Come with boxes of extra parts- gaskets, hoses, brakes, driveshafts, etc. Also includes extra axles with lockers and disc brakes, extra engine and transmission. Transmission has GM adapter. Clean and clear title in hand. If the ad is up, it’s for sale. Will not answer asking if it available. Low-ballers will be ignored.”

This modified CJ2A has a 1972 Ford Pinto engine, modified steering system and a Cj3a windshield. In the past year it has all new military tires and tubes, 15 inch rims, new right front hub, all new brake drums, new brakes, new carburetor, alternator and regulator and battery.
