Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This needs some work. The seller notes the serial number is low, but I couldn’t verify it.

This appear solid, but has some funky steps.

(10/08/2010) That rollbar is a little short. It includes a custom (auto?) trailer that will carry the jeep.

Here’s a nicely refurbished jeep.

(02/17/2013) James pointed out this body has several patches, which I missed. And originally forgot to mention the strange cowl thing (vent?). I wonder why all the holes in the windshield frame. (see pic 3).
“1948 Willy 2As Jeep. The first civilian jeep model. Used originally as a farm vehicle. I purchased this jeep in 1994 and slowly rebuilt it keeping mostly original parts. It runs well and is fun to drive. Stored inside. I would like to have the space.”
